    what is civil engineering

In Present time, Mostly parents do not decide student carrier. Student have freedom to decide his/ her career. If you are interested in engineering and want to take admission in civil engineering. Then you have to know some important points about career in Civil Engineering.

Before going to take admission in civil engineering, you have to question yourself like:-

    • what is civil engineering?

    • what are careers in civil engineering?

    • it’s easy to get government job or private job?

    • what are its benefits?

    • what work have to do after engineering?

    • Is this job suits for girls?

    • how difficult or easy to do study?

So in this post, I will try to clear all your doubts related to Civil engineering. There are other engineering branches like mechanical, electrical, software, aeronautical etc. But each engineering branch have its own importance. But today we will discuss about civil engineering?

We see many things all around us like fridges, TVs, washing machines, cars, bikes, buildings etc. used in the house, all are made up by engineers. Out of these, houses, bridges, roads are very important in human life. Which are build by civil engineer only. By the way, no studies are easy but it is not so difficult so you can learn civil engineering by a little bit effort.

    What is Civil Engineering ?

Military (military) engineering, it is considered to be the oldest engineering branch. But Now Military Engineering is named this civil engineering.

Civil engineer works in public sector such as Municipal Corporation, government national works, and in private sector such as work in any international companies, PSU’s, Self-private Company.

Civil Engineering involves planning, designing, construction, maintenance and supervising infrastructures which will introduce to modern life like highways, bridges and tunnels, schools, hospitals, airports and other buildings, sewage systems and water treatment facilities.

This will cover protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure.

Civil Engineers generally have a lot of specializations to choose from like:

Construction Engineering Coastal and Ocean Engineering
    Geotechnical Engineering Fire protection engineering
    Structural Engineering General Engineering
    Bridge Engineering Irrigation Engineering
    Land development Materials Engineering
    Transportation engineering Urban Engineering
    Hydraulic Engineering Water resources Engineering
    Environmental Engineering  Hill Area
    Earthquake Engineering Seismic design
